Almost time to see Chanticleer Garden!
by Susan Harris
Of ALL the public gardens I’ve ever visited (too many to count), Chanticleer Garden near Philadelphia is my favorite – and lots of other garden writers say the same thing. So I’m posting today to encourage readers to join Behnkes, Washington Gardener Magazine and Cheval’s Garden Tours on our trip to Chanticleer Garden and Nemours Mansion and Gardens on September 21. The deadline to sign up is September 18. You can sign up here.
You’ve seen two awesome photos from the garden in this review of Chanticleer, a Pleasure Garden by the Washington Post garden writer Adrian Higgins, and the photo above is one more by Rob Cardillo, who collaborated with Higgins on the book.
The rest of these photos are by an amateur – me. Chanticleer is always changing, so even returning visitors see something new each time.
