Prune azaleas after they flower.
Be sure to visit McCrillis Gardens in Bethesda – very near American Plant at the Beltway. You can picnic there and take your dog on a leash.
Make your own hummer food – don’t poison them with the red dyed stuff. One cup sugar, 4 cups water – boil for a few mins and store unused portion in regrigeratr until needed.
Don’t blow all debris out of your gardens – leave a little bit of stuff for nesting birds
I think that picture labeled as a witch hazel might just be a quince.
