Saturday, July 9 (9 to 3) join us at our Beltsville location for a Caribbean Festival. Caribbean festivals are FUN. This one will feature:
- Caribbean Delight II, a Beltsville restaurant, featuring authentic Caribbean food. 9 – 3
- Island Style Ice Cream – 9 – 3
- Noon – Caribbean Day Opening with Moko Meddlers – Children’s Stilt walkers! Join us in welcoming these talented children as they open our event.
- 12:15 pm ~ Live Steel Pan by Steel Pan Jam with Ron Emrit
- 12:30pm ~ Caribbean Dance Traditions
- 1:00pm ~ Reggae Artist ROWE
- 1:30pm ~ Steel Pan Jam with Ron Emrit
- 2:00pm ~ Children’s Musical Storytelling with Jana Bent (author, singer, direct from Jamaica!). Featuring “Shaggy Parrot” reggae book series on helping others and the environment, using music to create interactive story telling
